Texan producer Josiah Fontenot returns to Colour and Pitch with the 'Drawing Straws EP' featuring remixes from Finest Wear, Tim Tonal, Sumsuch, Andrew Duke and Second City Firsts.
With recent releases on Harmonious Discord, Subplot Recordings and Denied Music, we are delighted to welcome Josiah Fontenot back to Colour and Pitch with two gorgeous original tracks. 'From Way Back' is a driving, techno infused acid groove, which comes complete with a deep, swung version by Finest Wear and a string-laden powerhouse of a remix by Tim Tonal.
Title track 'Drawing Straws' takes on a more reflective and wistful mood, while keeping the tempos high. Sumsuch slows the pace for his melodic deep house version, while Canadian electronic doyen Andrew Duke takes 'Drawing Straws' into darker, hypnotic waters. Otherwise known as Wolf Hackmine, Colour and Pitch regular Steve 'Griffo' Griffiths dons his Second City Firsts guise for a timeless, bass-driven dub workout.
Out August 21st 2020.
